Chrisitan Schoolgirl Expelled Over Sexuality
Really? So a young girl admits to having feelings for another girl on her Facebook page, which has NOTHING to do with her school or teachers, and she ended up expelled from a Christian school. I understand the the Supreme Court has ruled that private schools can make those kinds of decisions. If they don't want public funding, I'm all for it. But lets look at this logically. The girl did not stand in the courtyard of her school and scream: I LIKE GIRLS while wearing a rainbow t-shirt. She posted something on a private networking site that was not affliated with the school at all. I think that's just ridiculous. Reason 1,981 why my children will never attend a Christian School.
I completely agree with you. She should have her facebook set to private. Although she didn't stand out and scream it, she did post it on a social networking site. that was her 1st mistake. I agree her sexuality isn't school related and she didn't go on facebook making threats against anyone so what the big deal???
